Lompoc Valley Visitors Guide 38 Presented by the Lompoc Theatre Project, Lompoc’s chalk festival – Lompoc Chalks – will take place October 9, 10, and 11 at in Old Town Lompoc, at the two public parking lots located at Cypress Avenue and I Streets, near “Art Alley”. L ompoc Chalks will is a mar- velous week- end of chalk art in downtown Lompoc featuring talented artists from near and far, young and old. Save the Date, October 9,10,11, for live art, food truck fun, live music, and more. The Lompoc Theatre Project runs the show as a fundraiser to help renovate their 1927 building that graces Lompoc's downtown. Sponsors, artists, and volunteers from throughout the community come together to create an experience of vibrant art and entertainment. Here's What's Happening! Friday Night - Meet The Artists Parking Lot Dance October 9th, 2020 from 6 - 9pm 135 South "H" Street (Located in front of the Temperance Mural next to The Sleep Shop). CHALKS FESTIVAL OCTOBER Meet the Artists in our Beer and Wine garden where there will be music, beer, and wine, seating, and dancing. The Food Truck Friday crew will be across the alley at Cypress and "I" St. offering a fun dinning option in support of the event. Saturday and Sunday - Live Chalk Art begins Saturday morning and continues throughout the weekend. There will be food, music, vendors, face painters, a Saturday Hay Ride, and a beer and wine garden. Admission is free with donations suggested. The support of our sponsors will assist in underwriting event expenses and provide funds for the non- profits mission to restore and reopen the historic Lompoc Theatre.
