This a great opportunity for community groups, individu- als, and businesses to express their pride in Lompoc and their holiday spirit! Parade route: South on H Street from corner of Pine Avenue and H Street, turn west on Ocean Avenue concluding on I Street. Meet up at Centennial Square following the parade for the winners and light our Community Christmas Tree. An extraordinary parade showcases commu- nity groups, individuals, and businesses, all expressing holiday spirit and pride in Lompoc. After the parade, participants and spectators are invited to gather at Cen- tennial Park, on the corner of Cypress and H Streets for the announcement of parade winners, as well as the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and a chance to visit with Santa. The winner of the Best of Lights Category will win free admission into next year's event. From the youth groups on lighted floats to the drill teams and marching bands, Lompoc and the local talent have a lot to offer as you'll see in this fam - ily oriented event. One of the highlights of the event is the ease of accessing the parade. Lompoc of- fers plenty of parking op- portunities around town, making it an ideal holiday stationing point for Cen- tral Coast vacations. Following the parade is the Tree Lighting Ceremo- ny in Centennial Square.
